The Midwest Soccer Challenge has concluded for 2009 and we would like to say thank you to all of you who made it a successful tournament.First of all thank you to the 80 teams from U10 to U18 who participated; without your players we obviously wouldn't have an event.Second, a special thanks needs to go out to our volunteers, without them we would not have been able to make this tournament run efficiently.Third, we need to thank our field director Bob Johnson who diligently found us fields despite the hurdles we encountered along the way. Fourth, we need to thank our referees and our referee coordinators (Gene Warner and Shelly Rice). Most tournaments are judged by the efficiency of their games and Gene and Shelly made our event this year as smooth as any I have ever been involved with. Lastly, we need to thank our TC Fire Team managers, Kristen Frick, John Hudgens, Leeann Fabian, Mary Anderson, Mark Rafferty, Greg Karp, Stephanie McCarthy, & Marcus Gernes who really coordinated all the volunteer efforts.We hope all truly enjoyed the event and we hope to see you again next year.
