18th Annual First Coast Labor Day Shootout

The 18th Annual First Coast LDSO is scheduled for September 4-6, 2010, with play only on the 6th if we experience weather dealys. Absent any significant weather issues, tournament should be concluded on the 6th. Competition.  Provided on the information tab above is a link to the 18th Annual LDSO sponsor hotels.    All out of towns teams are required to book their rooms through this LDSO sponsor hotel link as a condition of acceptance into the tournament.

The tournament is open to club and select teams.  Each participating team will play a minimum of three games and be allowed a maximum of 3 guest players for U9-10 to U12 and 5 guest players U13 and above.  Teams U13 and older may roster up to 18 players. In accordance with USYSA rules U11 and U12 will play with eight players per side with a maximum roster of 14 players. U9 and U10 teams will play with six players per side with a maximum roster of 12 players. All players in the u9 and u10 groupings will receive an award. All other divisions will receive an individual and team award for 1st and 2nd place finishes.

FCLDS will follow USYSA Rules regarding travel, officials, and play.  Teams accepted to play are required to provide the following at registration/credentials check-in on Friday September 3, 2010 from 6:00-9:00 at the 18TH Annual LDSO Host Hotel:

The following information is required:

1.      permission to travel forms (for teams outside Florida)

2.      one typed and signed original and three copies of the team tournament roster 

3.      a notarized original and copy of the medical release form for each player and

4.      current USYSA, US Club or affiliate validated player passes. 

Duration of games will be in accordance to USYSA guidelines with exception of the following:  U-15/16/17/18/19 will play 35 minute halves in pool play.  All semifinals (if scheduled) and finals will be per USYSA guidelines.

 
CHECK-IN FOR LOCAL TEAMS REMINDER
Reminder that local check-in is scheduled for those teams who want to take advantage and avoid the Friday crowd.  Check-in is from 6:30-8:00 at the Patton Park Building this WED September 1st.  Remember that if you have a t-shirt pre-order it will not be ready for this check-in, but you can go ahead and turn-in payment and pick up either on Friday at the Hampton Inn Beach Blvd or at Patton anytime on Saturday/ Sunday.

18TH ANNUAL LDSO T-SHIRTS

      

FINE DESIGNS will be printing ONSITE and selling custom printed shirts and clothing at the tournament, in many styles, colors and sizes.  The LDSO is offering a basic t-shirt for sale PRE-order, at a discounted price. These pre-order short-sleeve t-shirts will have the tournament design logo on front and team names on the back and are available in WHITE for $13 preorder ($24 at tournament), GREY FOR $15 preorder ($26-$28 at tournament), BLUE TIEDYE and PINK TIEDYE for $18 preorder ($30-$32 at tournament).  Team coach receives FREE white Tournament shirt with every team order that is received.
